
Today’s frog is the Smoky Jungle Frog – L. pentadactylus. The smoky jungle frog can be up to 7″ in length with a large round snout. This frog lives in lowlands (under 3,900 ft elevation) from southern Columbia to the Pacific lowlands of Ecuador and throughout the northern 2/3 of Amazon Basin.

Ooh, frog doodles! Adorable and awesome! We looked at some (poison) dart frogs at a reptile show (we went to see the snakes) — they ate wingless fruit flies. We didn’t buy anything but I sure was tempted. I can’t wait to see & read more on your blog!
