Apparently J plants are hard to find as well.
Java Moss (Vesicularia dubyana)
Look at that awesome moss tree!! Check out aquascape addiction for more ideas!
Origin-SE Asia
Lighting – Even though it is a “moss” it prefers bright light
Water – well circulated clean water
Temperature-70-75
This moss can be used in water feature areas and requires to be constantly moist as it establishes itself. Java moss can also be used with tadpoles. It helps to keep the water cleaner and gives tadpoles a little bit of security. It is recommended that the moss be started within a pond or water feature and then be transferred to a branch if you are going that route.

The moss tree looks like a real tree. I could see the fine terrascaping potential with this plant.
Arlee Bird
Tossing It Out
Almost makes me want to dive into aquariums. Almost. Aquariums are much more work.
I’ve been spending a lot of my time pulling moss out of my garden. Ugh!
And to think many people pay for that!!
Excellent use of the letter J!
