New Plants!

Well I finally broke down and ordered some new plants. The past 3 days have been in the 50’s and a low of mid 40’s so it was perfect timing. The next couple of days are supposed to be cooler and it is not looking any warmer in the foreseeable future.

I was so excited and surprised to get a text saying that my package had been delivered at 8:15 this morning. Especially seeing we hadn’t received any packages yet at work. So 3 painstakingly long hours later and my package finally arrived!

Each bromeliad was individually wrapped & the mixed tropical plants were 2 to a bundle.

Without further adieu here are the contents (sorry for the crummy lighting, but it is cloudy outside and typical office lighting isn’t the best):

Bromeliads:

I am not sure of the types of these. The mix as stated on his website is
“Mix is primarily Fireball, but may also include Donger, Zoe, and Super Fireball. Color ranges from red to green.”

This bromeliad was the largest, but it also looks like it is just starting to bloom so it will probably not last too long.

Peperomia verschaffeltii (Dwarf Watermelon Peperomia)

Dryopteris erythrosora (Autumn Fern)

Saxifraga stolonifera (Strawberry Begonia)

Muehlenbeckia complexa (Angel Vine)

Ficus Pumila (Climbing Ficus)

Pteris ensiformis “Evergemiensis” (Silver Lace Fern) Maybe?

Some type of Begonia

Peperomia Caperata (Ripple Peperomia)

I am not sure of this one. Anyone know what this is? It looks very similar to the dwarf watermelon peperomia but it is taller and the leaves are much smaller. EDIT – It is Peperomia Puteolata (Parallel Peperomia)
