Today’s frog is the Golden Poison Frog – P. terribilis. This frog is very poisonous and it is estimated that 1mg of poison will kill 10,000 mice or ~10-20 people. This poison originates from their diet of poisonous ants. In captivity these frogs will lose their toxicity as they will consume fruit flies instead.
