Philodendron ‘Red Empress’
Origin- hybrid
Water –medium moisture – not soggy
Temperature- warm to cool
This philodendron typically has leaves that are 6″ or smaller. The leaves are dark green with bright red accents. This plant will grow in a rosette form and will become shrub like.

Peperomia argyreia (Watermelon peperomia)

Origin- South America
Lighting – bright room in shaded spot- typically undercover within forests
Soil- peat based soil that drains well
Water – Do not overwater. Allow soil to dry to the touch at the top then water.
Temperature-65-75 degrees F. no lower than 50.
This peperomia grows up to 12″ tall and creates a small bushy rosette. Best suited outdoors as ground cover or together with other plants indoor. I love the leaf shape and mixture of green and silver within the plant. This plant does flower, however they are non showy and barely visible. This plant is very easy to grow.
