This is a trailing vine which has bright red flowers.

Soil:Prefers well draining soil that is moist but not wet.
Temperature: 60-75 degrees F.
Does well in humid environments.

Anubias barteri
This is a hearty and resilient species of freshwater aquarium plants.
Origin: West Africa
Lighting: Anubias barteri can thrive in a wide range of light from low light to high light
Water: 72-82 degrees F
Because these plants are slow growing and the leaves are thick so they will not move often, the leaves have a good chance of developing algae. You must keep moist as it establishes. Glass Box Tropicals suggests starting out the plant within a pond or small water feature and allowing the plant to naturally grow into your tank.

Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Bonsai’
$16.99/each at Glass Box Tropicals –They also have a ‘Petite’ version for $5.99

Thanks!! There are a couple that I will need to get creative with 🙂 Hope your challenge goes well!
Interesting new plants – wish the flowering was visible
I did originally have a photo of it flowering, but was not able to get permission to use it. I did update the post as I found a photo from Wikimedia 🙂 It is even prettier than this photo shows.
I’m not likely to be buying any of the plants, but it will be interesting to see the beauties you’ll be offering during April.
