This past weekend we went to Door County, WI! If you haven’t ever been there, I would highly recommend it. Door county is very busy in the summer due to all the tourists who come up to see the 5 state parks, 11 historic lighthouses, 7 local wineries, 11 different golf courses, biking, shopping, restaurants & of course the cherries! Door County is home to more than 2,500 acres of cherry orchards and they harvest anywhere from 8-12 million pounds of cherries per year. (Door County Fact Sheet) We ate breakfast at the White Gull Inn both mornings and it was delicious! I would highly recommend it! While touring around the many shops & boutiques I was able to find many pieces of frog art! Here are some of my favorite:

They also had metal frog art as well!
Many confectioners & wineries as well. Here is a photo of some of the fun stuff you can find there as well.
Overall, Door county is very beautiful, even if you aren’t by the lake. Here is a photo from my aunt & uncle’s house as the fog was coming in on Sunday night.
If you would like any frog related art, I recommend that you check out Frogroom Art on Facebook to see what the other hobbyists have to offer!
