DIY Terrarium Update

A lot of people have shown interest in seeing whether or not this makes the froglets more bold or if they just hide all the time.  The tank has been set-up for just over a month now and so the frogs have been in the tank for a couple of weeks.

Don’t mind the moldy wood.  The springtails should take care of that pretty soon.

So far with the frogs only being in there for a couple of weeks, I can already tell that they are way more bold than they used to be.  These froglets are now fearless… until I open the lid.  They no longer mind having people up close to the glass or even fingers touching the glass.  Upon opening the lid they normally get closer to the ground, but they can still be seen peeking out from underneath the leaves to see what is going on.  I think the sound of the lid lifting is pretty loud so I am guessing that is why it scares them.

Here are some photos of the froggies as they have been loving the glass recently.

IMG_1596There he is! Sorry it is so blurry but it is hard to get a good photo through the wet cylindrical glass!

And now here are some photos of the adults! They were on the glass as well!
