This long weekend gave me some time to clean up some of the tanks and hook the misting system back up. I took a bunch of pictures seeing everyone was out and wanted their photo taken.
First up are the Leucs! This is Houdini’s hiding spot in the tank. He loves to be hiding in the corner of the tank between the glass and the edge of the background. This is a lot better than his original hiding spot which almost gave me a heart attack because it was on the opposite side of the tank, behind the background. So I filled up that spot with some moss and he found this one instead.

Here are some more pictures of them climbing around catching flies & doing froggy things.
Next up are a couple photos of the Bakhuis! These guys weren’t feeling the photo shoot Sunday.
Now for some photos of the Tarapoto’s. These guys have been very bold recently and I think it has to do with how outgrown their tank is getting.
I added some film canisters from the parent’s tank to the babies tanks, seeing the parent’s have decided to start hiding their tadpoles. The babies love to climb all over the film canisters and explore them.
In these two pictures you can see how outgrown the top of their tank is getting. They have their own rainforest canopy going on up there with how overgrown the plants are.
Finally, another tadpole update. One tadpole is starting to color up, so I can expect his front legs to pop any day. The other tadpole isn’t quite there yet, but hopefully he will catch up pretty soon.
